The Plot

The story revolves around a surgeon, Sushil, who falls in love with nurse Karuna (Meena Kumari) but is forced by his mother to marry Kusum (Nadira), the daughter of their benefactor. Kusum mistreats the family after she gets to know about Karuna and out of jealousy she tries to get her revenge but dies in a car chase, allowing Sushil and Karuna to finally be together.
