Aamir Khan’s advice after Laal Singh Chaddha flop revealed by actress

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is currently in the news for his upcoming film 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. Recently, Aamir Khan has revealed how people asked him to do an action film after his previous film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' did not become a hit. 

Aamir Khan talks about the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha

Actually, in an interview, Aamir Khan was asked if he has accepted the failure of Lal Singh Chaddha. The actor said, "To be honest, after Lal Singh Chaddha, I was quite sad, heartbroken and emotionally broken because I had not had a failed film for a very long time. It was quite shocking for me because I also liked the film. So I was very surprised that people did not like it. I just want to add here, because I know that many people liked this film, 25% of the audience really liked this film. But I also have to accept that 75% of them could not connect with the film, they did not like my work, they had their own issues. I understand and respect it. But it was difficult for me to accept it".

During the conversation, Aamir Khan talked about his upcoming film Sitare Zameen Par. Aamir said that the story touched his heart. He said, "Everyone around me told me to do an action film after Lal Singh Chaddha. I could have done it, I had many offers. But the story of Sitare Zameen Par really touched my heart. I am such a creative person that once something gets into my blood, I have to do it".

'Sitaare Zameen Par' will be released on 20 June

Along with Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh will also be seen in the lead role in 'Sitar Zameen Par'. The film is directed by R.S. Prasanna, who also directed Shubh Mangal Savdhan. The film also features debutants Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Sanvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. He also produced and directed the biopic On a Quest of Swami Chinmayanand Saraswati, the teacher who inspired the formation of Chinmaya Mission. The film's lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and music is given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The film 'Sitar Zameen Par' will be released in theaters on June 20. The film 'Sitar Zameen Par' is a sequel to Tare Zameen Par, released in the year 2007.
