He supplied weapons at the behest of the gang's mastermind, Shubham Lonkar.

Background of Salman Khan's threat from Lawrence Bishnoi gang
Tensions between Salman Khan and the Bishnoi gang date back to 1998, when, during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain, the actor allegedly participated in a hunting trip in which a blackbuck, considered sacred by the Bishnoi community, was killed, a moment that later became the primary trigger for the gang's threats. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi later made a public statement about the incident, stating that his aim in life was to either force Salman Khan to apologize for the alleged blackbuck poaching incident or kill the actor, giving long-term context to ongoing security concerns.
