Abhishek Bachchan thanked Aishwarya Rai for this reason

Despite struggling at the box office, Abhishek Bachchan's latest film I Want To Talk has received immense praise from critics, who are hailing it as a significant comeback for the actor. The film is based on the story of an ailing father and his complicated relationship with his daughter. During a recent interaction, Abhishek opened up about his relationship with his daughter Aaradhya, and expressed his gratitude towards his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her unwavering support. He also spoke about his father Amitabh Bachchan and how, despite his busy schedule, he always made time for his children.

Praised Jaya Bachchan 

Speaking in an interview, Abhishek shared that he never felt lonely during his childhood, thanks to his mother Jaya Bachchan. When he was born, she stepped away from acting to focus on raising her children. “When I was born, my mother stopped acting because she wanted to spend time with the kids. We never felt the absence of a father. I think at the end of the day after work, you come home at night,” he said.

Amitabh is always present 

Abhishek also spoke about his father Amitabh Bachchan's dedication and sacrifice during his childhood. "Growing up, I would not see my father for weeks and he would sleep in the room next to mine. The door to my and my sisters' room and the master bedroom was always open. He would always come after we went to sleep and leave before we woke up the next morning. Despite his busy schedule, I don't remember a single annual day or basketball final of my school that he did not attend. At the end of the day, he was always there for us," he recalled

Praised Aishwarya

When I Want To Talk director Shoojit Sircar pointed out the significant sacrifices Jaya makes for her kids, Abhishek compared it with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. "In my house, I am lucky that I get to go out and make films, but I know Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya and I am very thankful to her for that, but I don't think the kids see it that way. They don't see you as a third person, they see you as a first person," he said. Aishwarya recently shared pictures from Aaradhya's birthday party on Instagram, but Abhishek was not seen joining the celebrations.
