Adnan Sami Slams Mumbai Airport’s Pranam Service: Popular singer Adnan Sami, known for his soulful hits in multiple languages, has strongly criticised the Pranaam Meet & Greet Service at Mumbai Airport (CSMIA). On 31st May, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his dissatisfaction, calling the service slow, careless, and poorly managed. Adnan Sami Criticises Mumbai Airport’s Pranaam Service

Sharing his experience on social media, Adnan Sami wrote:

“The Pranaam Service at Mumbai Airport has become the most inefficient, careless & lazy service in all of India! They have absolutely no regard for their customers!! Horrendous!! Such a terrible experience. Shameful. @CSMIA_Official seriously needs to fix & improve Pranaam – a lot!!”

This public outcry from the Padma Shri awardee has raised questions about the quality of premium airport services, especially for high-profile travellers.

CSMIA Responds to Adnan Sami’s Complaint

In response, the official X handle of Mumbai Airport (CSMIA) acknowledged his complaint and replied:

“Dear Mr. Sami, thank you for writing to us. We are truly concerned to hear this. We take your feedback seriously and have escalated it to the concerned team. The comfort, safety, and well-being of our passengers is our utmost priority.”

However, Adnan Sami wasn’t satisfied with the standard reply and retorted:

“There’s nothing more insulting than a ‘standard template bot reply’ that eventually means nothing.”

For those unfamiliar, the Pranaam Service at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is a premium meet-and-greet facility that aims to provide a smooth and comfortable airport experience. It offers VIP protocols, baggage handling, and mobility assistance to make the passenger journey hassle-free.

Despite the service’s goal of enhancing passenger convenience, Sami’s remarks suggest a serious gap in service delivery, although he didn’t elaborate on the exact incident that led to his frustration.
