Alia Bhatt gave a statement on Mahesh Bhatt's reaction to her panic attack

Bollywood's veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is celebrating his 76th birthday today. Alia Bhatt shares a close relationship with her father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Not only this, when Alia was starting her career with Student of the Year, her father helped her. Let us tell you that Alia had a panic attack a day before the shooting of Student of the Year began.

When Alia called her father Mahesh trembling

In fact, in her latest interview, Alia Bhatt recalled the time when she had a panic attack. She described her panic attack as the "weirdest" experience. When she called her father crying and trembling, he asked me to come to the office. The actress said, "I thought he would hug me, there would be silence in the room, but I went into a room with eight people. He made me stand in the middle of the room in front of everyone and said 'Now tell me how you are feeling'".

Alia Bhatt's first reaction to Mahesh Bhatt's advice was "This is so bad. Why would you do this?" She further added, "He said just do it. I did it and it was actually the best thing he could have asked for because I automatically felt normal because Emraan was there. Emraan Hashmi and he said 'Alia, you will feel like this before every film, before every shot'."

Mahesh was never a regular father

Along with this, Alia Bhatt also told that Mahesh Bhatt has never been a "regular father". She said that he does not sit with her every Sunday, does not take her to watch movies or remind her to do well in school. She said, "He is the opposite, he used to tell me to fail. He used to say that you must fail, if you do not fail then I will be very angry with you." When the actress was asked how he reacts if she fails, Alia replied, "He used to say that it is good. He completely removed the idea from my mind that failure is a bad thing".

Jigra will release on October 11

Talking about the work front, Alia is set to star in Jigra directed by Vasan Bala very soon. The film depicts the emotional bond between brother and sister. It highlights a sister's unwavering love for her brother and her determination to protect him at all costs. The film also stars Vedang Raina and is scheduled to release in theaters on October 11. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War.
