She shared that she was a chubby, healthy kid who felt confident about her appearance at that time. However, her perspective changed dramatically after she entered the profession. Alia Bhatt revealed, "I have been struggling with body-image issues ever since. No matter how much weight I lost, I always struggled. My friends used to say, 'Alia, you need to stop dieting. Just keep calm, live a little, eat a little and I used to think like this, once a fat girl, always a fat girl. I used to say this in my mind, no matter how much weight I lost".

Alia's attitude towards her body changed during pregnancy

Alia Bhatt's attitude towards her body changed a lot during pregnancy. The actress said that she felt a deep appreciation for her body and was fascinated by its capabilities. This realization inspired her to adopt a more positive attitude and she decided that despite the demands of her profession, she would no longer criticize her appearance or worry about excess weight or a bloated belly.

Alia Bhatt said this about beauty

Alia Bhatt also shared her opinion on what she thinks real beauty is. She said, "Beauty is actually what you perceive yourself to be. When they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it's one way of looking at it. But I truly think beauty is actually in your eyes. The way you see yourself is the way you present yourself." 

Jigra will release on October 11

Talking about the work front, Alia is set to star in Jigra directed by Vasan Bala very soon. The film depicts the emotional bond between brother and sister. It highlights a sister's unwavering love for her brother and her determination to protect him at all costs. The film also stars Vedang Raina and is scheduled to release in theaters on October 11. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War.
