Alia Bhatt told the reason behind choosing the film
In her recent interview, Alia Bhatt shared the reason behind choosing Jigra, where she is on a mission to free her brother, played by Vedang Raina, while he is trapped in a foreign prison. The actress said, "When Jigra came to me, I was going through my most tigressive, protective phase. Maybe that's why I went crazy about the material. It really spoke to me a lot. Maybe it would have spoken to me before, but it spoke to me in a very different way. It struck a different chord. Maybe something else would have come out of it. Not that I can measure or mold it, but motherhood definitely makes a difference."
Alia shares her thoughts on playing the role of a producer
Alia Bhatt is not only playing the lead role in Jigra but is also producing it. Earlier in an interview, the actress talked about venturing into production. She said, "I believe that stories are everywhere, and stories are everything. I took up the position of producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some such stories that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Our first production, Darlings, received so much love that it was exciting and overwhelming at the same time".
