Anil Kapoor enters YRF spy universe, will be seen in these films

YRF's Spy Universe franchise is being discussed everywhere. Every star wants to be a part of this franchise. Now Anil Kapoor has also become a part of this universe. Meanwhile, Aditya Chopra has signed a multi-film contract with Anil Kapoor for his popular YRF Spy Universe.

Anil Kapoor becomes a part of YRF Spy Universe

According to sources, Anil Kapoor has signed a contract to play the role of the head of R&AW (Research and Operations Wing) for the YRF Spy Universe. Anil Kapoor is extremely impressed with Aditya Chopra's vision for the Spy Universe and took no time to sign for the role. He has started his association with Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, and Kiara Advani starrer War 2. This will be followed by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha and finally Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's film Pathan 2.

For your information, let us tell you that many other films are being made in the writing wing of YRF under the IP of Spy Universe, including the most awaited face-off of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathan. At the same time, the report said that "Anil Kapoor will be in the same role in all the spy films".

War 2 will be released on 15 August

Talking about YRF, their next film is Ayan Mukerji-directed War 2, which is slated to release on August 15, 2025. This will be followed by Shiva Rawail-directed Alpha, which is the first film in the female-led saga in the universe. The timeline of Pathan 2 has been kept under wraps at this point, but the film is currently in the writing stage and is expected to go on floors in late 2025.
