Anupam Kher as ‘Rabindranath Tagore’, Dharmendra as ‘Lala Lajpat Rai’ in 'director' Biswajeet’s new patriotic movie ‘Agniyug-The Fire ’ also starring Jackie Shroff and Madhoo by Chaitanya Padukone

Eager audiences and ardent fans should be able to watch ( by this year-end) their favorite senior top movie stars playing historical legends on-screen, in this upcoming mega musical patriotic multi-lingual movie titled Agniyug-The Fire ’, which is produced by writer Ira Chatterjee and directed by (her husband) yesteryear musical suspense mega-star hero Biswajeet. 
The ‘Bees Saal Baad’ and ‘Kismat’ movie-star lead-actor  (Biswajeet) informs us that his multi-starrer movie ‘Agniyug-The Fire’ has Anupam Kher playing Rabindranath Tagore, Dharmendra as Lala Lajpat Rai, Jackie Shroff in a different role as a tough, daring patriotic soldier, and ‘Roja’ girl Madhoo as a revolutionary army officer Capt. Lakshmi Sahgal. Also part of the movie cast is Southside popular actor Ganesh VenkatRam an and the director’s talented daughter Shambhavi Chatterjee both in impactful roles.

However versatile lead actor-singer Biswajeet, who has featured in over 200 movies and is also famous for dozens of evergreen hit songs picturized on him, informs us that in ‘Agniyug’, “I will not face the camera, not even in a cameo role “ !.

With a cheerful smile, the 87 year ‘young’ Biswajeet says, “For me, my age is just a number. My patriotic-passion-mission of making an extraordinary authentic-factual memorable patriotic film (Agniyug)  keeps me going ahead, “ says enthusiastic veteran legendary actor-director Biswajeet. who has lived thru and witnessed the pre-Independence era activities..  

Reveals Biswajeet, “ My multi-lingual film ‘Agniyug’ which will be an inspiring factual on-screen revelation for today’s modern digital-age youth of the pre-Independence struggle. Which includes the various major wars and supreme sacrifices by brave patriots and daring martyrs. Our Agniyug movie mission is also to foster communal harmony and national integration The music is scored by talented duo Sunil Kapoor and Sudhir Kapoor. Since the period drama is set between 1942 to 1947 (the year of Indian Independence), Agniyug-The Fire will have haunting, inspiring old melodies and new songs as well. We have already recorded a melodious song in the vibrant voice of star playback singer Kumar Sanu-da,” informs patriotic-by-nature Biswajeet-da who has also made many historic freedom-fighters based well-appreciated films in the past.
