During this, Vikrant Massey said that Vidhu Vinod Chopra's wife and film critic Anupama Chopra had called him an 'OTT actor' before 12th Fail.

Actually, Vikrant Massey said during his recent interview, "Vidhu Vinod Chopra's wife Anupama Chopra, who is a popular film critic, told me that you are making a film after such a long time. No one came to see your last film Shikara. You are an OTT actor. Why will people come to see him in the theater?"

While celebrating the completion of 100 days of the film '12th Fail', Vidhu Vinod Chopra shared an interesting anecdote about the journey of the film. He recalled, "When I was making the film, everyone including my beloved wife told me to put it on OTT. She said, 'Nobody Vinod! Will go to see your and Vikrant's film!' She told me that I don't know, that I am no longer associated with films". Not only this, Anupama Chopra, who was present at the event, jokingly confirmed his story and said, "He is right, I said that I don't know who will come to the theater to watch this film. So I am publicly saying that I was wrong and you are right."

Talking about Vikrant Massey's work front, the actor will next be seen in director Ranjan Chandel's upcoming thriller film, The Sabarmati Report. The film focuses on the events that took place on the Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station in Gujarat on February 27, 2002. It also stars Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna. The film will be released in theaters on August 2, 2024.
