Actor Khushi Dubey on 'Jubilee Talkies - Shohrat.Shiddat.Mohabbat'

Sony Entertainment Television's upcoming fiction offering, ‘Jubilee Talkies: Shohrat.Shiddat.Mohabbat’ is all set to charm viewers, every Monday to Friday at 8 PM. Set against the backdrop of Indian cinema, Jubilee Talkies is a triumphant tale of hope and resilience that leads to a modern-day love story. Following the journey of an influential superstar Ayaan Grover aka AG (Abhishek Bajaj) and a humble small-town theatre owner Shivangi Sawant (Khushi Dubey), the show sees their paths cross, which could lead to the beginning of an unexpected love story. And as their two worlds collide, the sparks are bound to fly!

Shivangi's Fight to Save Sangan Cinema Against All Odds

The very first episode packs a powerful punch that establishes Shivangi’s hustle to restore her family’s single-screen theatre, ‘Sangan Cinema’, and she navigates through unexpected challenges to keep the theatre running. Viewers will also see Shivangi and her mother, Bobby (Asawari Joshi), stay firm in their decision against selling Sangam Cinema to Contractor Jadhav (Sanjay Narvekar), who wishes to replace the theatre with a liquor shop. 

Speaking about the excitement of the launch, actor Khushi Dubey says, “I was riveted when I heard the narration of the show. The story is about Shivangi, a girl from a small town and an influential superstar AG. Episode 1 itself will leave you on a cliffhanger that defines the rest of the journey of the show. My character, Shivangi, is dedicated to rebuilding her father's dream, Sangam Cinema, and she believes a superhit delivered by AG will save the theatre. She’s gutsy, she is enthusiastic and her love for cinema will help her in a death-defying situation when Contractor Jadhav decides to use brute force to gain Sangam Cinema.”
