Anurag Kashyap recalled the night he spent in jail, said- 'My life changed...'

Anurag Kashyap is known for his outspoken style. Be it praising someone or criticizing them, he does it openly. These days the actor-director is in the news for his recently released web series Bad Cop. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap recalled an incident in his latest interview when he spent a night in jail.

Because of this Anurag Kashyap had to go to jail

Let us tell you that in a conversation with Samay Raina on his YouTube channel, Anurag Kashyap said, "Yes, I have gone to jail. I slapped the wrong person. Someone you should not hit. I was in jail for one night. The person who put me in lock-up is the same person who changed my life completely. He was the one who got me out." Anurag said that the person who forced him to spend a night in jail was impressed by the fact that Anurag stood up for the right thing.

When Anurag Kashyap reached Saudi in an unconscious state 

Not only this, while promoting his film Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat in the year 2023, Anurag Kashyap recalled the time when he was arrested for being drunk in Saudi Arabia in an episode of Unfiltered with Samdish. He said, "There were no flights from Denmark because of volcanic ash. I was very tired and I was drunk and I went, took the ticket and I had to wait for five hours. I went to the lounge and started drinking because I wanted to faint. I sat on the flight and fainted. I landed in Saudi, they arrested me because I was completely drunk on Saudi soil. They started interrogating me".

Anurag Kashyap's work front

Talking about the work front, Anurag is currently seen acting in 'Bad Cop'. Actor Gulshan Devaiah is in the lead role with him in this crime thriller series. This series has been released on Disney + Hotstar. After this, Anurag will be seen directing the Hindi remake of 'Kill Bill'. Along with directing, he will also be seen acting.
