Let us tell you that on Monday, Arijit Singh shared a note for Anoushka Shankar on his Instagram Stories. Sharing the note, he wrote, "Thank you Anoushka Shankar for inviting me on stage in Kolkata last night. I have always loved your music; it listens, it speaks, it lives. Playing with you is always a beautiful experience, and I look forward to it every time. I am grateful for your generosity in the music, the moments, and every note. A special thank you to @bickramghoshofficial." Reacting to her Instagram Story, the sitarist wrote, "So humbled @arijitsingh."

Arijit Singh's first live show after quitting playback singing (Arijit Singh First Performance After Retirement)

In a video going viral on social media, Anoushka Shankar welcomed Arijit Singh on stage, to a standing ovation from the audience. Speaking to the audience, Arijit said, "I'm very nervous. Thank you for inviting me." Arijit Singh then sang "Maya Bhora Rati" on stage with Anoushka and Bikram Ghosh. The track is a Bengali song sung by Lakshmi Shankar and composed by the late sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar. Arijit also talked about meeting Anoushka at her home and creating a song together.
