According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Shri Ram was born on this day. This time this auspicious day is on 17th April. And this day is very special for all Ram devotees. On January 22 this year, Lord Shri Ram was consecrated in the Ram temple built in Ayodhya. On this auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Lord Bhaskar will do the tilak of Lord Shri Ram seated in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Let us know how this miracle will happen. View this post on Instagram A post shared by NEWS9 (@news9live) On this day of Ram Navami, a mixture of science and devotion will be seen. CBRI Roorkee scientist Dr. SK Panigrahi and his team have worked on this modern system. With the help of this design, Lord Bhaskar will do the Tilak of Lord Shri Ram on 17th April at exactly noon. For a total of five minutes, this Surya Tilak will be seen illuminating the face of Lord Shri Ram. Let us tell you that at the time of construction of the temple, it was decided that Lord Shri Ram's tilak would be done with the rays of the sun, for which a team of scientists from Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee had made special preparations for its design. On the day of Ram Navami, the sun's rays will be conveyed from the second floor of the Ram temple to the idol of Ramlala installed in the sanctum sanctorum through pipes and optomechanical systems (lenses, mirrors, reflectors, etc.). How will the sun's rays reach to do the tilak of Lord Shri Ram? Four high-quality mirrors and four lenses will be used. Two mirrors will be installed on the second floor of the temple and two on the lower floor. The sun's rays will pass through the Ashtadhatu pipes and hit the lenses through the mirrors installed on the second floor. After this, the sun's rays will pass through the pipe and hit the mirror and lens installed on the lower floor and reach in the form of Tilak on the head of the idol of Ramlala installed in the sanctum sanctorum. The length of the pipe installed from the second floor to the lower floor will be eight to nine meters. After hitting the mirror installed in the sanctum sanctorum, the rays will directly apply a 75 mm circular Surya Tilak on the forehead of Ramlala. A gear mechanism will be used every year for this Every year Ram Navami comes on a different day, now the problem for the scientists was how to apply Surya Tilak to Lord Shri Ram every year. The second problem faced by the scientists was that the sanctum sanctorum was not constructed in such a way that the sun's rays could reach here. In such a situation, scientists found a solution to this problem. Every year on Ram Navami, the direction of the mirrors is fixed in a special way using a gear mechanism so that the sun rays can apply tilak on the forehead of Ramlala. To reach the sun's rays to the sanctum sanctorum, from the second floor to the sanctum sanctorum, the sanctum sanctorum has been connected with pipes and optomechanical systems (lenses, mirrors, reflectors, etc.). After the construction of the third floor of the temple, these arrangements will be made from the third floor. Let us tell you that in this project, CBRI Roorkee has worked on the design of Tilak and piping, while the consultation of this project has been done by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) Bangalore and Fabrication Optica Bangalore. This project is not only a technological marvel but will also be a wonderful experience for the devotees. This will be a special attraction for the devotees visiting Ram temple on the occasion of Ram Navami.
