Let us tell you that in his latest interview, Abhishek Bachchan, while discussing the role of a father in a child's life, said, "Many times, in general discussions, we forget what a father must be going through. I think men are not very good at expressing their feelings. This is a huge drawback and we feel that we should just quietly accept our responsibilities or pressures and move on. A father can never replace a mother. Women are the superior race, they should not underestimate the work of a father. And sometimes it is good to shed a little light on this that 'Hey, maybe it is nothing compared to what a mother does, but she tries her best.'

'You should be friendly with your child' - Abhishek Bachchan

Talking about today's changing parent-child relationship, Abhishek Bachchan said, "I think you should be friendly with your child. You cannot be a friend to your child. You are their guardian. You are there to protect and guide them, but you should be friendly enough to them that they feel comfortable coming to you and telling you their problems and you should be the first person they want to call, but I also believe that at the end of the day, you are their parent. They should understand this difference, that's what I believe."

During the conversation, Abhishek Bachchan was asked if it is the same in real life, to which he joked about his daughter Aaradhya. The actor said, "I have a 13-year-old daughter, so you must know. The good and refreshing thing is that at home you are a parent. Whether you are a professional or a celebrity, you are just a parent. I don't see it as a reality check, but it is a good thing because this love comes from a true place, not because of your work".
