Bollywood celebs congratulated Vinesh Phogat on her victory in Olympics 2024

Vinesh Phogat has created history in Paris Olympics 2024. Wrestler Vinesh Phogat became the first female wrestler to enter the Olympic final by defeating Cuba's Lopez Guzman on 6 August. Everyone is congratulating Vinesh Phogat on her victory. At the same time, Bollywood celebrities congratulated Vinesh Phogat on their respective social media handles. However, now the news is coming that Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has been disqualified from the 50 kg event of women's wrestling due to overweight.

Earlier, Riteish Deshmukh celebrated her grand entry into the semi-finals.

Because of this Vinesh Phogat was disqualified

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has confirmed that Vinesh Phogat has been disqualified for being overweight. The association said, "The Indian team is sad to inform you that Vinesh Phogat has been disqualified from the 50 kg category of women's wrestling. Despite the best efforts made by the team overnight, her weight was a few grams more than 50 kg this morning. There will be no further comment from the team at this time. The Indian team requests you to respect Vinesh's privacy. She wants to focus on the current competitions".
