Bollywood cheers Team India after T20 World Cup victory parade

Bollywood celebrities also welcomed the T20 Champions on their social media accounts. India is beaming with pride and joy after Team India's historic World Cup win on June 29. As the cricket team returned with the trophy, they began a victory parade across the city of Bombay as well as at the iconic Wankhede stadium.

Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana also took to their social media handles to welcome the team.

Actor Vicky Kaushal shared a video on his Instagram account celebrating Team India's big win at the Wankhede Stadium. The video shows the Men in Blue walking together and singing AR Rahman's song 'Vande Mataram'.
Virat Kohli leads the group with the Indian flag draped over his shoulders. Vicky captioned his story, "Welcome home champions!" and added an Indian flag, an emotional face, and a red heart emoji. 
In the video, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, walk together singing the iconic song of AR Rahman's 'Vande Mataram'. The video exudes patriotism, joy, and team spirit, giving fans a glimpse of the team's celebration. Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday also shared the same video on their Instagram story, added stickers and wrote, "Welcome home boys"

Ananya Pandey also shared a post on her Instagram.

Dil Bechara actress Sanjana Sanghi wrote, "Yes, we take our cricket very seriously", also shared a post and cheered for Team India.

Shahrukh Khan also got emotional with this historic win!

Earlier yesterday, he paid an emotional tribute to Team India after their historic win at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, 2024. Shah Rukh on his official X account reposted a video of Team India's victory parade on the famous Marine Drive from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium, and wrote a touching congratulatory message for the men in blue "Swells my heart with pride to see the boys so happy and emotional... This is an amazing moment as Indians - to see our boys take us to such great heights!!! My Team India, love you all... And now dance all night long as the boys in blue strip off all the blue!"

Men In Blue met Narendra Modi

Team India reached Delhi on Thursday morning by a special Air India flight organized by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah. After meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, the team reached Mumbai for a grand victory parade.
