Chandni Bar 2 Controversy:National Award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is once again in the news for his hit film "Chandni Bar." He has accused the makers of " Chandni Bar Returns" of using the title without permission. Bhandarkar has filed a complaint with the International Motor Vehicles (IMPPA) against producer Sandip Ssingh and director Ajay Bahl in this matter. Madhur Bhandarkar's complaint concerns Sandeep Singh and Ajay Bahl's use of his registered title "Chandni Bar" for their sequel, "Chandni Bar Returns," without permission. Following the complaint, the association has directed the producers to immediately cease using the title for their project. Sandeep Singh is reportedly working on a project with Ajay Bahl, which is said to be a sequel to Bhandarkar's National Award-winning film, Chandni Bar.

Complaint filed against Sandeep Singh and his banner

For your information let us share that responding to the complaint, IMPPA wrote a letter to Sandip Ssingh and his banner which said, "This is to inform you that we have received a complaint from our member, M/s Bhandarkar Entertainment, Mr Madhur Bhandarkar that your company is using his registered title 'Chandni Bar' for the sequel titled "Chandni Bar Returns" without obtaining the necessary authorisation or consent".

There has been no response from producer Sandeep Singh.

The complaint further stated, "Please note that the title 'Chandni Bar' is the registered property of the makers Madhur Bhandarkar Entertainment. Any use of this title in any form or medium without their prior written approval will be considered unauthorized and may subject you to appropriate action. Therefore, you are advised to stop using the said title in any format with immediate effect." Sandeep and his team have not yet officially responded to the complaint.
