Chhava's song Jaane Tu has been released
Yes, you read it right! The music of Chawa is also quite famous, as it is composed by none other than the maestro AR Rahman. This is the second collaboration between filmmaker Laxman Utekar and Rahman after their successful film Mimi. The song Jaane Tu is sung by Arijit Singh, composed by Rahman and written by the much-loved Irshad Kamil. Rahman and Kamil have previously given Hindi cinema some of the most iconic albums including Rockstar, Raanjhanaa, Amar Singh Chamkila, Tamasha, etc.
Now released with its video, Jaane Tu depicts Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's homecoming from a battle. Maharani Yesubai walks towards him with longing, welcoming him with love in her eyes. The video beautifully depicts their moments spent together, showing Yesubai as a devoted wife praying for her husband's well-being as he heads off to another battle. The emotions are magical and heart-warming. Sharing the song on Instagram, the makers wrote, "Some bonds transcend time, transcend words, etched in history forever. About the Chhava
For those who don't know, Chawa is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Pictures. The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, who ruled from 1681 to 1689. Made on a grand scale, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhosale, Divya Dutta as Sambhaji Maharaj's stepmother Soyrabai and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The recently released poster has further increased the excitement for the film's trailer, which is scheduled to release on January 22, 2025.
