Kangana Ranaut's much-awaited film 'Emergency' has finally been released today i.e. on 17 January. This film beautifully presents the life and political journey of the former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. On January 16, Kangana Ranaut organized a special screening of the film for Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Let us tell you that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised the film Emergency and said, "It is an important document of that period in Indian history, when the democratic rights of the people were crushed, the Constitution was not followed and lakhs of leaders were imprisoned. Emergency is a good representation of the atrocities committed on the people at that time".
CM praised Kangana Ranaut
While praising Kangana Ranaut's performance as late PM Indira Gandhi, Devendra Fadnavis said, "I want to congratulate her for playing the role. The film is not just about the Emergency but also about what happened before it... the 1971 war, and in many ways, it is like watching the life journey of the late Prime Minister. This is the history of India that reminds us of the importance of keeping democracy alive".

Not only this, while talking to the media after the screening, Kangana Ranaut said, "This journey has been very challenging for me and my team. Today the CM saw our film and he praised us and gave us words of encouragement. This is a matter of great honour for us".
Kangana Ranaut counted the merits of Emergency
Listing the qualities of Emergency, Kangana Ranaut said, "It is a clean film, which does not have any kind of obscenity. It is a very dignified film and I would urge all of you to watch it with your family. There is only one week left for Republic Day, I hope this film which respects the power of the Constitution will be watched throughout the week."

Written and directed by Kangana Ranaut, 'Emergency' also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film's music is composed by Sanchit Balhara and GV Prakash Kumar, while the screenplay and dialogues are written by Ritesh Shah. Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. The film was earlier scheduled to release on September 6.
