CM Eknath Shinde and Bobby Deol launched the poster of the film 'Dharamveer 2'

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and actor-producer Bobby Deol on Sunday, June 30, 2024 released the poster of Marathi film Dharmaveer 2, a sequel to the biopic based on his political guru and late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe. During the poster launch event of the film, the producers included Mangesh Desai of Sahil Motion Arts and Umesh Bansal, Chief Business Officer of Zee5. Let us tell you that the first part of the film was released in 2022.

At the poster launch event of 'Dharamveer 2', Bobby Deol said, "It is an honour to be a part of this celebration. The performance in the first part was commendable and I congratulate CM Eknath Shinde for his two successful years in the government".

CM Eknath Shinde talked about the importance of the film

While talking about the subject of the film and its importance to him, CM Eknath Shinde said, "Anand Dighe was not just a leader but also my mentor. His life and contribution continue to inspire us. I am proud to support this cinematic portrayal of his legacy".

The series will stream on ZEE5 on August 9

The first part of the film was released in 2022. Written and directed by Praveen Tarde, the film starred Prasad Oak, Kshitij Date, Makarand Padhye, Snehal Tarde and Shruti Marathe in lead roles. The film 'Dharamveer 2' is set to release in theaters on August 9. 'Dharamveer 2' aims to highlight previously untouched aspects of Anand Dighe's life and political career, and attempts to capture the essence of his lasting legacy.
