Agastya Nanda became emotional remembering Dharmendra

During the launch event of the song 'Sitare', Agastya Nanda remembered his co-star and onscreen father Dharmendra, saying, "You know, this is very emotional for me because Dharm ji has worked with all generations of my family. He worked with my great-grandfather, my grandfather, and I got the opportunity to share screen space with him. As sir said, it was an honor. It was a great privilege, and I am very sad that he did not get the love he deserved. It is emotional for all of us."

When did Dharmendra die?

Dharmendra passed away on Monday, November 24th, at the age of 89. The actor had been battling age-related ailments. He breathed his last at his home in Juhu, where he was undergoing treatment after being discharged from Breach Candy Hospital. His family quietly cremated him without any official announcement, for which they were widely criticized. Following the death of actor Dharmendra, the Deol family held a prayer meeting on November 27th. Many prominent members of the family and the industry, including Salman Khan, Rekha, and Aishwarya Rai, attended to remember Dharmendra.

Ikkis will release on 25 December 2025

Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, "21" will release in theaters on December 25, 2025. In "21" Dharmendra will play Arun Khetrapal's father, and Jaideep Ahlawat will play an army officer. Simar Bhatia will play his love interest in the film.
