Sharmila Tagore also spoke openly about working with Dharmendra in Chupke Chupke. She said, "When he was late for outdoor shoots, Rishi Da would proceed without him. After that, Dharm was never late on Rishi Da's sets. He was worried that his role would be cut. He was a very nice person. I did many romantic films, I used to do Chupke Chupke Aana Rahoon, it was a comedy. Everyone should watch him in it and laugh. He was a big man. Everyone called him Papaji. He was a true big man. Dharmendra made his debut in 1960, but his breakthrough came with the 1966 film Phool Aur Patthar, in which he starred alongside Meena Kumari. The film was a huge success and catapulted Dharmendra to stardom. Over the years, Dharmendra's filmography has included iconic blockbusters like Sholay, Raja Jani, Seeta Aur Geeta, Kahaani Kismat Ki, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Charas, Azaad, and Dillagi, showcasing his range and versatility as an actor. Dharmendra's last film, Ikkis, is scheduled to release this December. This biographical war drama also stars Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles and is directed by Sriram Raghavan. It will release in December this year.
