Dheeraj Kumar Death: Veteran actor and producer Dheeraj Kumar died on Tuesday, 15 July 2025, in Mumbai at the age of 79. Kumar, who was suffering from pneumonia, was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in critical condition and was on ventilator support before his death. Dheeraj Kumar's career
Dheeraj Kumar, also known as Dheeraj Kochhar, is an Indian actor, television producer, and director. As an actor, he has worked in Punjabi and Hindi films. He entered the entertainment industry in 1965. He was one of the finalists of a talent show along with Subhash Ghai and Rajesh Khanna. Between 1970 and 1984, he acted in about 21 Punjabi films. He later founded his own production company, Creative Eye, of which he was the chairman and managing director. Dheeraj Kumar's films include Deedar, Raaton Ka Raja, Baharon Phool Barsao, Heera Panna, Sharafat Chhod Di Maine, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Sargam, Maang Bharo Sajna, Kranti, Purana Mandir, Kamar Yudh, Bepannaa,h and Swami among many others.
