Did Arjun Kapoor send late night messages to his ex amid breakup?

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were one of the IT couples of B-Town who were loved by many. But sadly, their relationship did not stand the test of time and they eventually parted ways by mutual consent. But recently, the actor admitted to sending late-night messages to his ex-girlfriend.

I sent the message at 3 am in the night

Arjun Kapoor was talking about his personal and professional life in a chat with Mashable India. During a fun session, he was asked if he has ever texted any of his friends at 3 am. The actor immediately asked if the host generalised the question for him. Since the answer to his question came in the form of a 'yes', the anchor shared the OG question which was 'Have you ever texted an ex late at night?' The Singham Again star, like a funny player, accepted the act by showing a placard that read 'I have'. He then looked at the audience and jokingly asked, "Idhar kaun hai woh jhootha jo bo raha hai kabhi ex ko message nahi kiya hai?" which made everyone laugh out loud.

Both will always hold a special place in each other's hearts

While the whole country was speculating about Arjun and Malaika Arora's breakup, media reports at that time had confirmed the news of their separation. An industry insider close to the celebs exclusively told, "Malaika and Arjun's relationship was very special and both will always hold a special place in each other's hearts. They have decided to separate and will maintain a respectful silence in the matter. They will not allow anyone to drag and analyse their relationship."

The relationship is over 

The source further added, "Theirs was a long, loving, and fruitful relationship which has unfortunately come to an end. This does not mean that there is any bitterness between them. They respect each other a lot and have been a pillar of strength for each other. They have given a lot of respect to their relationship over the years. Despite deciding to separate, they will continue to give each other the same respect. They were both in a serious relationship for years, and they hope people will be kind enough to give them space during this emotional time." Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun was last seen in Rohit Shetty's film Singham Again. In Singham Again, Arjun explored the dark territory through the role of the main antagonist Danger Lanka. He is being introduced as the modern-day Raavan of Ramayana, pitted against Ajay Devgn, who is introduced as Lord Ram.
