Director Ashwni Dhir's son Jalaj Dhir dies in a car accident

Jalaj Dhir, the 18-year-old son of Bollywood filmmaker Ashwini Dhir, died in a major car accident in Mumbai on the morning of November 23. He was in a car with his three friends when the car collided with a divider on the Western Express Highway in Vile Parle.

Jalaj dheer's friend was driving the car under the influence of alcohol

Let us tell you that Jalaj Dheer, son of filmmaker Ashwini Dheer, had gone on a trip from Bandra to Goregaon late at night with his friends. One of them was identified as 18-year-old Sahil Mendha, who was driving the car and was allegedly drunk. Mendha lost control of the vehicle near Sahara Star Hotel and the car directly collided with the divider between the service road and the bridge on the north side. Jalaj and his other friend Sarth Kaushik (18), who was sitting in the back seat, died after being taken to the hospital. Based on the complaint of the fourth friend Jaden Jimmy (18) who was present in the car, Mendha was arrested by the Mumbai Police and now his blood samples have been sent for testing to identify the presence of alcohol in his body.

Jalaj Dheer died before reaching the hospital

According to the information received, Jalaj Dheer and his three friends were sleeping at their home. They played video games till 3:30 in the morning and then went out for a drive. They stopped for dinner at Sidgi in Bandra and then returned to the car at 4:10 in the morning. It is being told that Sahil, who was drunk, lost control and the car collided, due to which he and Jimmy suffered minor injuries, while Jalaj and Sarthak suffered serious injuries. Jalaj Dheer was rushed to Trauma Hospital in Jogeshwari East. He was later shifted to Kokilaben Dhirubhani Ambani Hospital, where doctors declared that he was no more. On the other hand, Sahil took Sarthak to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra West, where he was declared dead after examination.
