Ekta Kapoor may go to jail, Hindustani Bhau filed an FIR against the producer for this reason

Television and film producer Ekta Kapoor often gets caught in some legal troubles. At the same time, the film producer has once again come into the discussion regarding the OTT platform Alt Balaji. Let us tell you that social media personality and Bigg Boss fame Hindustani Bhau has accused her show of insulting Indian soldiers. Taking action on his complaint, a local court has now directed the Mumbai Police to investigate the matter. 

The case will be heard on May 9

Actually, according to the reports received, the Bandra Magistrate Court has directed the Mumbai Police to investigate Hindustani Bhau's 2020 complaint against Ekta Kapoor. The court has directed the officials to submit a report on the matter by May 9 under Section 202 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 

No statement came from Ekta Kapoor

The complaint further states, "The accused have stooped to a very low level and have shamelessly targeted the dignity and pride of our country by portraying the military uniform of the Indian Army along with the national emblem in an illegal sexual act". At present, Ekta Kapoor and the Alt Balaji team have not yet responded to the court's direction.

Case is registered since 2020

For your information, let us tell you that this case is from 2020, when Hindustani Bhau filed a complaint against Ekta Kapoor, her OTT platform Alt Balaji and her parents Shobha Kapoor and Jitendra. He accused them of insulting Indian soldiers through the content of the show. In his complaint, Hindustani Bhau criticized a show on Ekta Kapoor's platform, which showed a military officer performing "illicit sexual acts" while wearing his uniform.

An FIR has been filed against Ekta Kapoor in the year 2024

This is not the first time the filmmaker has faced legal trouble over the content on his streaming platform. In 2024, an FIR was filed against him after Jabalpur BJP MLA Abhilash Pandey accused him of portraying “bold content involving children” in the web series Gandi Baat.

Vikas Pathak, popularly known as 'Hindustani Bhau', hails from Khar, who gained popularity for his videos recorded from a vehicle, often using abusive language. His style brought him fame but also led to controversies. A former crime reporter for a Thane-based local newspaper, he has a strong presence on platforms like YouTube, from where he first gained attention. 'Hindustani Bhau' participated in the 2019 season of reality TV show Bigg Boss. In May 2021, he was arrested by the Mumbai Police for protesting at Shivaji Park demanding cancellation of exams for students in violation of Covid guidelines. He was taken to Shivaji Park in an ambulance.
