I've never experienced anything like this before. Today is a very special day, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to take a holy bath. It’s my privilege to have had the chance to bathe here on this auspicious occasion. I am very happy that among the millions of people gathered here, I too got the opportunity for this sacred dip. Thank you."

CM Yogi Adityanath Appeals for Order & Safety at Mahakumbh
After the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued an appeal to the devotees attending the Mahakumbh. He urged the pilgrims to follow the guidelines and cooperate with the administration. In his statement, CM Yogi requested the devotees to bathe at the nearest designated Ganga ghats rather than attempting to go to the 'Sangam Nose' area. He emphasized, "There are several ghats available for bathing. Please avoid overcrowding and follow the administration’s instructions. Your cooperation is essential in maintaining order and safety." Additionally, CM Yogi Adityanath cautioned against believing or spreading rumors and urged the pilgrims to assist the authorities in ensuring a smooth and peaceful experience for all participants.
