Himesh Reshammiya Father Death: Singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya's father and veteran music director Vipin Reshammiya passed away at the age of 87. According to the information received, Vipin Reshammiya breathed his last on 18 September 2024 at 8:30 p.m. At the same time, Vipin Reshammiya's death has caused a wave of mourning in the entire industry. Not only this, Vipin Reshammiya's last rites will be held on 19 September in Juhu.

Vipin Reshammiya was undergoing treatment due to health problems

Let us tell you that he was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai due to breathing problems and other age-related health problems. At the same time, this sad news was confirmed by family friend Vanita Thapar. Confirming the death of Vipin Reshammiya, she said, "Yes, he had breathing problems. He was in Kokilaben and he passed away at 8:30 pm tonight. I have been a family friend for many years, like family. I used to call him Papa since he was producing TV serials. Later, he became a music director and Himesh started following in his footsteps. We both had a very close relationship. Numerologist Anup Singh and I were also very close to him".

Himesh Reshammiya said this about his father

In the year 2021, during an appearance on Indian Idol 12, Himesh Reshammiya had spoken about his father and shared some emotional memories. He had also posted a heart-warming video on Instagram, in which he recalled how his father had composed a beautiful, unreleased track sung by legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. Sharing the post, Himesh said, "My father, composer Vipin Reshammiya had composed a beautiful track sung by the great Lataji and Kishore Kumar ji a few years ago. Unfortunately, it couldn't be released then."

Vipin Reshammiya had composed the music for Salman's film

Meanwhile, Vipin Reshammiya composed music for a Salman Khan film, where Salman first met Himesh Reshammiya and was impressed by his musical talent. This meeting marked the beginning of Himesh's success as a music composer for Salman's film Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. Vipin Reshammiya worked as a producer on The Xpose (2014) and Teraa Suroor (2016), both starring his son Himesh. He also composed music for the unreleased film Insaaf Ka Sooraj (1990).
