Hiramandi star Jason Shah breaks his silence on battling s*x addiction

Actor Jason Shah played the role of A Alastair Cartwright in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series Hiramandi. His acting was well-liked by the fans. But do you know that Jason Shah was very addicted to alcohol, smoking, and s*x? Meanwhile, Jason Shah has bravely revealed his struggle with sex addiction. 

Jason Shah revealed about alcohol, smoking, and s*x

Let us tell you that Jason Shah, in his latest interview, shed light on his struggles with smoking and sex addiction and said, "It was alcohol. I used to smoke about two and a half packs of cigarettes a day. I can definitely say that I was addicted to women. It was a sex addiction that was very difficult for me. I think it was one of the biggest addictions to quit. God is so good and His grace is so enough for me that His love overcame everything".

Jason Shah, on the other hand, candidly expressed the difficult nature of overcoming his addiction. Reflecting on his experience, he warned against the common notion of "if it feels good, do it", identifying it as potentially harmful advice. Jason Shah said, "It's not easy, it's hard because you have to say no. It's a funda that if it feels good, do it. But I've realized that it's probably the worst advice you can give someone. From my life, I would say, my worst decisions were made when I felt good. Now I say, if I feel good, think about it".

In the year 2021, Jason realized his addiction 

On when Jason realized that he was addicted to sex, he said that on New Year's Eve of 2021, I was at my friend's house and saw the girl leaving as usual. I felt very bad for hurting her. I felt very bad and guilty at that time. It was only after this that my religious journey started. I realized that there are many other things in life and this brought about a change.

Jason Shah said this about his current relationship

Along with this, the actor also talked about his current relationship. He said that both of them have decided that they will not have sex until they get married. This decision has been taken so that they do not get emotionally attached. Whenever you have sex with a girl, both of you get emotionally attached and after that logic has no meaning. Your entire relationship now becomes based on emotions and as I said, emotions are very dangerous.
