Sensational versatile actress Alia Bhatt has been adjudged the Best Actor Female for both the years ( 2022 and 2023) while Vikram Massey & Hritik Roshan win the Best Actor Male for 2023 & 2022 at the prestigious biennial Bollywood Film Journalists’ Awards.

12th Fail & RRKPK are all set to take home the honours for the year 2023 at the 8th Bollywood Film Journalists’ Awards to be held in Mumbai later this month. While 12th Fail has won for Best Film, Best Director & Best Actor Male & two more categories; RRKPK has won for Best Actor Female and in five more categories. This year the BFJA ceremony is also being held for films released in 2022 and Gangubai Kathiawadi will be taking home 11 Roaring Lions, including Best Film, Best Director & Best Actor Female. While Animal & Jawaan have won in three categories each for this year, Brahmastra has won in four categories for last year. Hritik Roshan has won the Best Actor Male for 2022 for his brilliant performance in Vikram Vedha.

The 19 member  prestigious jury this year included noted film critics and eminent senior film-journalists like Faridoon Shahryar, Anuraag Pandey, Chaitanya Padukone , Dr. Rajiv Vijayakar, Ronak Kotecha, Shama Bhagat, Divya Solgama, Joginder Tuteja, Jyothi Venkatesh, Vishal Verma, Ram Kamal Mukherjee, Hemant Sanganee, Johnson Thomas, Kunal Mandekar, Narendra Gupta-ji , Ashameera Aiyappan & Balaji Vittal amongst others; Making BFJA definitely the *MOST NON-MANIPULATABLE UNBIASED and HONEST FILM AWARDS in INDIA today *— all in a span of just 7 years !
