Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court on Friday granted bail to two men arrested last year for allegedly plotting to murder Salman Khan near his Panvel farmhouse. According to media reports, Justice NR Borkar on February 6, 2025, granted bail to Gaurav Bhatia alias Sandeep Bishnoi and Waspi Mahmud Khan alias Wasim Chikna due to insufficient evidence. The court found that apart from their presence in a WhatsApp group discussing the alleged murder plot, there was no significant evidence linking the two to the crime.
