Imtiaz Ali says he plans to use 'live music' in his upcoming films: It will be really awesome
Imtiaz Ali further said, "I was saying that it is doubly shocking that the entire film industry, hundreds of men on every set who are otherwise remarkably well-behaved, gets a bad name for the acts of a few. Of course, terrible things have happened and continue to happen and they are shameful - as an industry and a nation, we must adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards them. We have to maintain our dignity together, regardless of gender".

Vinta Nanda said this about Imtiaz's comments

Let us tell you that Imtiaz Ali spoke on the issue of the casting couch in Bollywood at IFFI Goa, where he rejected the notion that compromise guarantees success. After this, producer Vinta Nanda shared a post on Instagram criticizing Imtiaz Ali. Sharing the post, Vinta Nanda wrote, "Imtiaz Ali should stop speaking about the problems faced by women in the entertainment industry. Naturally, Kareena Kapoor is safe because she is privileged. And, she must surely know that a casting couch exists! Why has IFFI Goa chosen him to speak on behalf of women? Is it to hide the truth? If men like him had the decency to avoid speaking on a subject about which they have no experience, then one can believe that change has happened."

In fact, Imtiaz Ali said at IFFI Goa, “Let me tell you that if a woman or a girl cannot say 'no', then her chances of success are not necessarily good. It is not that if a girl compromises, she will definitely get a role. If a girl can say 'no' and respects herself, only then others will respect her. People like me and many others often think about whether we take someone seriously or not. We need to respect a person to cast him/her”.
