Janhvi Kapoor posted a video related to the hit-and-run case on her official Instagram story and wrote in the caption, "This is so horrifying and anger-inducing. It’s disgusting to think that anyone would behave this way, thinking they can get away with it, whether they were drunk or not."

The incident occurred on March 13 in the posh area of Vadodara, when a young man named Rakshit Chaurasia, driving a high-speed Volkswagen Virtus automatic car, collided with three two-wheelers near the Amrapali Complex. In the crash, eight people were seriously injured, and a woman lost her life. What makes this case even more alarming is the behavior of the driver, Rakshit, who, after exiting the car, was seen shouting "Another round!" before walking away chanting "Om Namah Shivaya" after a crowd gathered around him. It's said that "Another Round" is a film from Denmark, which Rakshit was reportedly very influenced by.

Rakshit Chaurasia, a law student at Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), was reportedly seen socializing with students from other universities more than his own. The car he was driving that night, the Volkswagen Virtus, belonged to Pranshu Chauhan, whose father, Rajesh Chauhan, owns a PVC factory in Vadodara. Pranshu is a student at Parul University.

Charges Filed Against Rakshit Chaurasia: Rakshit Chaurasia has been booked under serious charges such as involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving, endangering the lives of others, and causing harm, along with violations under the Motor Vehicle Act. However, Rakshit has claimed that he was not under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
