Jigna Vora shares her experience on her recent visit to the prestigious Christ University Sharing more details about the visit she says, “Christ University is one of the best universities in the country, which has given birth to many startups. It was a very honorable moment to be the chief guest at the university. I would like to thank Mesta Was invited to Raabta Mahotsav organized by and was part of a panel discussion – Art as Activism: Unveiling the Power of Indie Expression to Bring Social Change. I also spoke about my experience as a journalist and What mistakes should one not make while reporting incidents. I also talked about ethics in journalism. It was an interactive session as students also asked their questions." She also says, “Media is being considered as the fourth estate in our country and hence it is very important to be responsible towards what we report. Visiting colleges always brings back memories, it makes me feel better about my college. Reminisces about the days. I talked to the students about their lives, the difficulties they have to face, especially the students who are away from home. I must admit that students around the world due to social media exposure are very well updated with what is happening, whereas it was not the case in our times. Today's youth have their strong opinions and do not hesitate to express or raise their voice. Such interactive sessions are a learning experience for me as well. The experience is - like they made me aware of how important social media is and also nowadays students don't judge anyone, they are very receptive. Like during our time we students were very homely and active like today Were not.” Read also: Sonu Sood's 'Fateh' Teaser Unveiled: A Thrilling Directorial Debut Ravi Chaudhary: Honored with National Fame Award by Ameesha Patel Gauraiya Live: Narendra Khatri as Devnarayan, Premieres March 29 KCF Miss & Mrs. India 2024: A Grand Success with Nari Shakti Samman Yodha: Raashii Khanna's Dream with Dharma Productions Related Articles Advertisment Latest Stories Read the Next Article
