Jigra: Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt's song 'Chal Kudiye' is out

Let us tell you that today on 17 September 2024, the makers have released the first song of 'Jigra' 'Chal Kudiye' which Alia has sung with singer Diljit Dosanjh. The lyrics of this song have been written by Harmanjit Singh. In this music video, Diljit is seen in a white-colored outfit, while Alia is also wearing a T-shirt on which 'Ghar' is written.

Jigra will release on October 11

The story of the film Jigra focuses on a daring jail break attempt. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film stars Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and Aditya Nanda in the lead roles with a screenplay written by Bala and Debashish Irengbam. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions. Jigra is set to release in theaters on October 11, 2024.

Last year in 2023, Alia Bhatt talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She told that the film is a story of 'courage, passion and determination'. Alia said, "After just a little over a year, we are ready to launch our second production Jigra, which is a beautiful story of courage, passion and determination. I hope to continue supporting compelling stories that are authentic and forever timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them to life".

Alia shares her thoughts on playing the role of a producer

Alia Bhatt is not only playing the lead role in Jigra but is also producing it. Earlier in an interview, the actress talked about venturing into production. She said, "I believe that stories are everywhere, and stories are everything. I took up the position of producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some such stories that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Our first production, Darlings, received so much love that it was exciting and overwhelming at the same time".
