Junaid feels that they both look so different, that is why he is never compared to his father Aamir Khan. He said in an interview, "Both of us are very different physically. He looks very young and I don't think people realise that he has a son who has grown up so much."

Junaid Khan makes his theatrical debut with Loveyapa. The film has now released in theatres. Junaid had already made his acting debut with the Netflix film Maharaja. Loveyapa also stars Khushi Kapoor who is making her big screen debut (she was also a part of Netflix's The Archies).
