Kamal Haasan meets PM Modi: Actor and Rajya Sabha MP Kamal Haasan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. The veteran actor made a special request to PM Modi regarding Keeladi. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan shared several pictures of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Thursday.

Let us tell you that Kamal Haasan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Kamal Haasan meets PM Modi) and presented him a souvenir. In the pictures, Kamal Haasan is seen talking to Prime Minister Modi. He also presented him a souvenir based on the theme of Keeladi village located on the banks of the Vaigai River, 12 km from Madurai. It is an ancient site of the Sangam era. In his post, Kamal Haasan said that it was an honor for him to meet the Prime Minister.

While sharing these pictures, Kamal Haasan wrote, "Today I had the privilege of meeting the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji. As a representative of the people of Tamil Nadu and an artist, I placed some requests before him, the most important of which was the request to get the antiquity of Keeladi recognized soon. I requested the Prime Minister to support the Tamil people in showcasing the grandeur of Tamil civilization and the eternal glory of the Tamil language to the world". Not only this, there is a conflict going on between the Center and the DMK-led Tamil Nadu government regarding the discoveries of Keeladi.

Let us tell you that last month, Kamal Haasan took oath in Tamil language in the Upper House of Parliament, which was warmly welcomed by fellow MPs. He played a national legislative role for the first time. He was nominated with the support of the ruling DMK-led coalition, which promised him a Rajya Sabha seat in exchange for MNM's support in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Talking about the work front, Kamal Haasan was last seen in 'Thug Life', which was released in theaters in June this year. Directed by Mani Ratnam, this film was also released in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. The film also featured actors like Silambarasan TR, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Nassar, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Ali Fazal.
