Kangana Ranaut is very excited about her film Emergency. After a long wait, this film is releasing on 17th January. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has given her reaction on the order of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to remove some parts from the film.
Kangana Ranaut said this
In fact, Kangana Ranaut said during the conversation, "I would have liked the full version to come out. But there is no problem with the cuts, because it is not that the film has been made to make fun of anyone. It is not like that. It is fine. They completely removed some of the historical context. And the fact that it does not affect my film, in a way, is proof that it does not matter".
The message of the film is also intact- Kangana Ranaut
Continuing her point, Kangana Ranaut further said, "The story is completely intact. The message of the film is also intact, which is patriotism. So I don't think it has affected the larger story. But if they have shot it, then there must be a reason behind it."
The release of the film was delayed due to controversies
Apart from playing the lead role in Indira Gandhi's biopic, Kangana Ranaut has also written, directed and co-produced Emergency . The film focuses on the 21-month Emergency imposed by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi from 1975 to 1977, which was a significant moment in India's history. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had alleged that the film's approval was delayed due to threats made against CBFC members. Earlier, Sikh organizations had objected to its release. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Akal Takht have also demanded an immediate ban on the film. They claim that it tries to attack the character of Sikhs by creating a story against them. Due to these petitions, the release date of Kangana's film Emergency was in danger. At the same time, the actress accused the Central Board of Film Certification of obstructing certification to delay the release of the film.
