Kantara: Chapter 1 – Rishab Shetty Wraps Shoot, Makers Share Exclusive BTS Video

Kantara: Chapter 1: The prequel of Rishab Shetty's Kantara i.e., Kantara Chapter 1, is one of the most awaited releases of the year. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of this film. At the same time, production house Hombale Films today, on 21 July 2025, released the much-awaited making video of Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1, which gives a glimpse of the fascinating way of making the film.

Let us tell you that the makers of 'Kantara: Chapter 1', the production house that produced the film, Hombale Films, shared the link of a glimpse video on their X timeline. Sharing this video, they wrote, "Ended... the journey begins. Presenting a glimpse of the making of #WorldOfKantara. #KantaraChapter1 has been a divine journey, deeply rooted in our culture, brought to life by unwavering dedication, tireless hard work and incredible team spirit. Looking forward to seeing you all in theaters on October 2, as this mythological story will be seen on the big screens around the world".

Director Rishabh Shetty said this

The video shows how much hard work both the unit and the film's director, Rishab Shetty, have put into the film. Rishab Shetty says that the shooting of the film has been completed in three years, and thousands of people have worked on "Kantara: Chapter 1", and he believes that it is not just a film, but a divine power. Rishab Shetty said in the video, "I have a dream. To tell the story of my land to the whole world. Of my village, of my people, of my beliefs. When I decided to fulfill that dream, thousands of people stood with me. Three years of hard work. Two hundred and fifty days of shooting. No matter how many challenges I had to face, my faith never left me. My entire team, my producers, they were my backbone. Every day, when I saw thousands of people gathered to work, only one thought kept coming to my mind again and again. This is not just a film. It is a divine power. Welcome to the world of Kantara".

'Kantara: Chapter 1' will be released on October 2  

'Kantara: Chapter 1' is one of Hombale Films' most ambitious ventures. The creative team behind the film includes music director B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematographer Arvind Kashyap, and production designer Vinesh Bangalan, all of whom have shaped the film's impressive visuals and emotional narrative. It is set to release worldwide on October 2. The film will release in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English. It aims to reach out to audiences across languages and regions, while staying connected to its cultural roots.
