Speaking to ETimes, Kapil Sharma (Kapil Sharma mental health) said, "Every phase had its own beauty. Childhood was different. Life was different when my father was around. After his death in 2004, everything went off track. Then I got a chance on TV, and my life settled down. But at 36, depression broke me down badly. People started saying, 'It's over.'" He further explained that marriage and the show's return gave him the courage to recover. "Then I got married, the show came back, and I did over 300 episodes," he said.

"I was thinking, 'I wish Papa was here today,'" he said. He shared another memory: "When my show started, I was standing outside my house at 9 pm. The TV was on in every house in the society and I could hear people laughing. I thought, 'How happy Papa would have been if he were here.' I miss him every day, but some moments are especially painful."
