If the news going on social media is to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan is charging Rs 5 crore for each episode of KBC this year. However, according to sources of TV9 Bharatvarsh, this claim is not completely true. Last year, during KBC 16, Big B charged around Rs 2.5 crore per episode. Since he shoots two episodes a day, his daily earnings are Rs 5 crore.

This year, i.e., for KBC 17, according to sources, Amitabh Bachchan has increased his fees a bit. Now he is charging Rs 3 crore per episode. That is, his fee for shooting two episodes in a day has increased to Rs 6 crore.

Weekly earnings? (Big B's salary)

KBC is shot three days a week, meaning a total of 6 episodes are shot every week. According to this, if Amitabh Bachchan's one-day fee is Rs 6 crore, then he is earning Rs 18 crore every week. This amount can reach around 70 crore in a month. However, till now, no official statement has come from Sony TV or Amitabh Bachchan himself in this regard.

TRP may have decreased, but Amitabh's shine remains intact (KBC TRP)

In the last season, the TRP of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' was a little low, due to which it was being speculated that perhaps the show could be closed or Amitabh Bachchan would distance himself from it. But dismissing these speculations, Big B himself announced his return in the promo of KBC 17 and showed that he is still the life of this show.
