Panorama Studios has released the explosive trailer of Kesari Veer, a historical epic that promises to bring to life one of India's most courageous but less celebrated warriors, Hamirji Gohil. With a tagline that resonates through time, "Dharma ki Raksha, Aastha ka Sankalp, and Gaurav of the Holy Land of Somnath," the film is filled with religious pride, heroic resistance, and deep cultural reverence. Sunil Shetty shared his thoughts about the film Kesari Veer

Speaking at the trailer launch of Kesari Veer, Sunil Shetty talked about what attracted him to the project. The actor said, "What was not there in this film? I did not have a single reason to say no. It talks about our faith, our country... Who are we really? What does Sanatan Dharma teach us? Just faith, karma and seva. Nothing beyond that. And this film also shows that - who we really are. Unless we are provoked, we remain silent. Until then we tolerate everything. Just like what is happening in recent times. The government is doing remarkable work. What is happening in Kashmir is extraordinary - Article 370 was implemented, and there has been progress since then. But there are some people who do not want this progress to happen. This film also gives the message that we should stay united, stand together, and most importantly, identify as Indians first. We are not talking about box office success here. This is a small effort by the entire cast and crew to do something that we believe in. We are praying that this film succeeds. It “It is a heartfelt showcase of India—its culture, its beauty, its people—then and now”.

'Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath' releasing on May 16 

In this historical epic, Sooraj Pancholi is seen as War Hamaraja Gahil, a brave warrior who is determined to protect the sacred Somnath temple from invaders. While Sunil Shetty is playing the role of fearless warrior Vegda ji in this film, Vivek Oberoi will be seen in the role of dreaded villain Zafar. Akanksha Sharma will be seen playing the role of Sooraj Pancholi's girlfriend in the film. Earlier the release date of the film was fixed as March 14, 2025 but now the film will be released on May 16. The film is directed by Prince Thimman. The producer of the film is Kanu Chauhan.
