In fact, in an interview, Kriti Sanon , while talking about 'Cocktail 2', said, "Tere Ishq Mein was emotionally draining; it left me completely drained. I felt I needed something light and fun, and that's when Cocktail came to me. I thought, 'This is it. This is where I want to be.'"

In another interview, Kriti Sanon spoke about her experience playing one of the most emotionally challenging roles of her career in Aanand L. Rai's musical romance Tere Ishq Mein. She said, "What I love about her is that she's not perfect. She's not a perfect girl. She has flaws, just like we humans do. And she's very raw, she's vulnerable."
