The Wives will explore the lives of Bollywood star wives whose world is filled with glamour, gossip, and extraordinary luxury—but beneath the surface lie secrets, struggles, and emotional complexities.

The film stars seasoned actors such as Sonali Kulkarni, Mouni Roy, Regina Cassandra, Rahul Bhat, Saurabh Sachdeva, Arjan Bajwa, and Freddy Daruwala. Interestingly, several of these actors have previously collaborated with Bhandarkar in films like Fashion and Heroine.

The Wives is being produced by Pranav Jain of PJ Motion Pictures. This marks Madhur and Pranav’s second collaboration—earlier, they worked together on the OTT film India Lockdown, which received much appreciation from viewers.

Madhur Bhandarkar took to Instagram to share a photo from the film’s muhurat shot, where he can be seen holding the clapperboard. Alongside this, a striking poster was also released, featuring four women wearing masks—symbolizing the hidden faces and mysterious world the film intends to explore.
