Let us tell you that during his recent conversation, Mukesh Khanna shared that, “I acted in an advertisement. It was an advertisement in which I was wearing perfume and girls started looking at me. A person told me that when this advertisement was being shown in the theatre, he was present there. He was Amitabh's friend. And Amit ji has a special style. If I were in his place, I would probably have said the same thing. He told me that Amit ji saw the advertisement and said, 'Sala copy karta hai'. You can call me self-respecting or stubborn, but I told that man, 'Pagal hai tu, he will say this?' But that sentence remained in my mind”.

Not only this, Mukesh Khanna also talked about the media's reaction to this comment. He said that many people had said that a statement by Amitabh Bachchan ruined his career. Mukesh denied this and said, "We never worked together, so it is stupid to say that Amitabh Bachchan ruined my career." Not only this, Mukesh also talked about a journalist who asked him if Amitabh ruined his career with just one comment. "I said, 'Are you crazy?'"
Mukesh Khanna spoke about Big B's comment
Mukesh Khanna further said that he has met Amitabh "10 times" since he heard about the alleged comment. He said that one such meeting took place on a flight from London to India, where both greeted each other before settling into their seats. Mukesh clarified that his career choices were never influenced by Amitabh, saying, "I acted in a few films because I had signed only a few films. Amitabh did not stop me from acting in Mahabharata or Shaktimaan".
