Priyanka Chopra Mourns Uncle’s Death, Says ‘He Will Always Remain in Our Hearts’

Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra's cousin and actress Mannara Chopra's father Raman Rai Handa has passed away at the age of 72. Now actress Priyanka Chopra and her brother Siddharth Chopra have expressed grief over the death of their uncle Raman Rai Handa.

Let us tell you that Priyanka Chopra shared a story on Instagram and mourned the death of her 'fufaji (uncle).' Priyanka Chopra mourned the death of Fufaji Raman Rai Handa and wrote, "You will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace Raman Chacha (uncle). Om Shanti".

Siddharth re-shared a statement shared earlier by Mannara. He wrote, "Raman uncle, I will miss you".

Raman Rai Handa's last rites will be performed on June 18

Let us tell you that Mannara Chopra shared this sad news on social media along with the information about her father's funeral ceremony (Raman Rai Handa funeral). Mannara Chopra shared an official statement on her Instagram story and wrote, "With great sadness and grief, we inform you of the tragic demise of our beloved father, who left us on 16/06/2025. He was a pillar of strength for our family. Raman Rai Handa's last rites will be held on June 18 at 1 pm at Amboli crematorium in Andheri West, Mumbai.". Raman Rai Handa is survived by his wife Kamini Chopra Handa and daughters Mannara and Mithali. 

Raman Rai Handa was a lawyer in the Delhi High Court

According to the information received, Raman Rai Handa was unwell for some days due to unknown reasons. Raman Handa worked as a lawyer in the Delhi High Court. He was married to Kamini Chopra, aunt of Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra. The family often came together on festivals, birthdays and important occasions.
