Filmmaker Mahesh Kalawadia missing: The tragic accident of Air India plane in Ahmedabad has plunged the entire country into mourning. 270 people lost their lives in the Air India plane crash. Now news is coming that the name of Ahmedabad filmmaker Mahesh Kalawadia, popularly known as Mahesh Jirawala, is also likely to be included among those killed in Meghnagar. Not only this, the filmmaker's family has given DNA samples and the last location of his mobile phone was found just 700 meters away from the accident site.
Mahesh Kalavadia is missing since June 12
Actually, according to Mahesh Kalavadia's wife, Mahesh had left home on June 12 to meet someone near Law Garden. He called her at 1:14 pm and told her that he was coming back. But when she tried to contact him at 1:40 pm, his phone was switched off a few minutes after the Air India flight took off from Ahmedabad airport.
Mahesh Kalavadia's scooter and mobile phone are missing
Meanwhile, Mahesh Kalavadia's wife Hetal told PTI, "His scooter and mobile phone are missing. This is all unusual as he never used that route to come home." The family has since submitted DNA samples to the authorities to confirm whether Mahesh was among those killed when the plane crashed in Meghnagar.
Who is Mahesh Kalavadiya?
Mahesh Kalavadia, a resident of Naroda, is known for his work in Gujarati music videos and commercials. He is the founder and CEO of Mahesh Jirawala Productions, a creative organization that produces visual content primarily in regional languages. In 2019, he directed the film Cocktail Lover Pug of Revenge, starring Asha Panchal and Vriti Thakkar. He lives in Naroda, a suburb of Ahmedabad, with his wife Hetal and their two children, a daughter and a son.
270 people died in Air India plane crash
For your information, let us tell you that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner carrying 242 passengers and crew from Ahmedabad to London crashed into a medical college hostel in Meghnagar moments after takeoff on June 12. 241 people lost their lives in this accident, including 169 Indians, 53 British, seven Portuguese and one Canadian. Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, sitting in 11A, was the only survivor with minor injuries. A total of 270 people have died in the plane crash in Ahmedabad. This includes 241 people on the flight to London and 29 people who died when the plane crashed into the hostel of BJ Medical College.
