Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh's film 'Punjab 95' remains in the news. Whether it is the dispute over rivers or Operation Bluestar, Indira Gandhi's assassination or the 1984 riots, from President's rule to the assassination of the Chief Minister and now... why is Punjab suffering?" The teaser shows Diljit Dosanjh, who plays Sikh rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra and is investigating the disappearance of Sukhdev Singh. Dosanjh is seen risking his life to take photographs and look for clues to solve the case of Sukhdev's disappearance.
